Stainless steel coil is a kind of sheet coil made of stainless steel, which has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance and good mechanical properties. Stainless steel coil is widely used in construction, automotive, electronics, chemical, food processing and other fields, is an important metal material.
Stainless steel coils are usually produced by steel mills through cold rolling, hot rolling and other processes. According to the composition and structural characteristics of stainless steel, common stainless steel rolls can be divided into the following series:
Ferritic stainless steel coil: mainly composed of chromium and iron, common grades are 304, 316 and so on. It has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties and is widely used in chemical industry, food processing and other fields.
Austenitic stainless steel coil: mainly composed of chromium, nickel and iron, common grades are 301, 302, 304, 316 and so on. It has excellent corrosion resistance, toughness and welding performance, and is often used in the manufacture of pressure vessels and pipelines.
Ferritic-austenitic stainless steel roll: also known as duplex stainless steel roll, composed of ferritic and austenitic phases, common grades 2205, 2507 and so on. With high strength and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in Marine engineering, chemical equipment and other fields.
